PAC SAAC Scholar-Athletes of the Month

Each month the Student-Athlete Advisory Committees (SAAC) at each PAC member institution are asked to nominate one male and one female student-athlete for PAC SAAC Scholar-Athlete of the Month consideration based on academic and athletic accomplishments. Nominees must be a varsity team member in their respective sport(s) and in their junior or senior year. Scholar-Athlete of the Month nominees must have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher and be actively involved within their campus communities.

Temple was voted the PAC's Player of the Year on Feb. 23 before leading Thomas More to its 11th PAC Championship Tournament title. She posted a 32-point, 12-rebound double-double to pace the Saints in their 93-51 title game victory over Washington & Jefferson College at the Connor Convocation Center, finishing 10-of-15 from the field while adding six assists and three blocks.

A two-time All-PAC First Team (2017, 2018) selection, Temple earned Second Team All-PAC honors and was tabbed the league's Freshman of the Year in 2016. Named a D3hoops.com All-America First Team selection on March 17 after being selected as the D3hoops.com Great Lakes Region Player of the Year March 13, she helped lead the Saints to a 30-2 record and their second trip the NCAA Division III Championship semifinals in the last three seasons (2016). She was named to the Division III Championships' All-Tournament team last Saturday.

Temple was also honored by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) as a member of this year's NCAA Division III Coaches' All-America Team March 15 at the Division III Championship Banquet in Rochester, Minnesota.

Temple ranks fourth among all Division III counterparts in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.74), sixth in total assists (170), 10th in points (574), 13th in field goals made (201), 15th in free throw percentage (.876) and 16th in field goal percentage (.556). She led Thomas More in scoring and rebounding, averaging 17.9 points and 7.0 rebounds per game, respectively. Temple scored her 1,000th career point on December 19 against Willamette College during the Hoop N' Surf Classic in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Temple currently ranks fourth in program history in assists (398) and eighth in scoring (1408).

An enthusiastic member of the Thomas More community, Temple is involved in a myriad of activities on campus. A member of Thomas More's James Graham Brown Honors Program, she is an active volunteer with Special Olympics of Northern Kentucky and Catholic Charities, Diocese of Covington. She has also assisted with the National Education Association's (NEA) Read Across America Day, an annual nationwide reading celebration that takes place on March 2, the birthday of beloved children's author Dr. Seuss.

A sports and entertainment marketing major, Temple carries a 3.68 GPA. She has twice been named to the PAC's Academic Honor Roll and has earned Dean's List distinction three times.

Bogen, a four-time All-PAC selection (All-PAC First Team in 2015-17), helped lead the Titans to their fourth-straight PAC team title on Feb. 18 at Grove City College's James E. Longnecker Competition Pool. He tied for fourth in the 50 free (21.79), was eighth in the 200 free (1:53.26) and was 11th in the 100 free (48.88).

On campus, Bogen has served four years as the SAAC representative for Titans' swimming and diving program and has worked with numerous Special Olympic events. He is also a member of Westminster's student volunteer Fresh Start orientation team and the Slippery Rock Watershed Coalition service learning project.

A member of the Mortar Board national honorary, which recognizes seniors for their exemplary scholarship, leadership and service, Bogen is also involved with the Lambda Sigma and Pi Sigma Pi national honoraries.

A chemistry major, Bogen maintains a 3.93 GPA. He has been named to the PAC's Academic Honor Roll three times and earned Dean's List distinction after each of his seven semesters.
